Conferences and events
Whether you’re organising a conference, seminar or any other event, Leiden University has a wide range of unique venues that you can hire. And with the experienced and dedicated team at our Events Office, you can be assured that the organisation and delivery of your event is in safe hands.
How to make your event a success
Organising a conference or event begins with two key questions: What do you want to achieve? And who is your target group? A public conference to communicate science to a wider public is very different from a meeting to inspire further collaboration between international experts.
Leiden University’s Events Office has a wealth of experience in organising academic meetings and events. We can help you in a range of different ways: from advising on your event programme and thinking about the bigger picture to providing the entire organisation and delivery of your event, and all possible permutations in between. The Events Office is familiar with all the University venues and facilities as well as with other options in the cities of Leiden and the Hague. We also know exactly which hotels the two cities have to offer.
