Managing your references using Mendeley

Managing your references can be very time consuming: did I read this article, and what did I think of it? Did all the citations and references I used in my document end up in the bibliography? Such problems can be solved by using reference management software like Mendeley.

Why this course?

Managing your references can be very time consuming: did I read this article, and what did I think of it? Did all the citations and references I used in my document end up in the bibliography? Are the titles in my bibliography correct and do I really have to adjust every title to the correct style one by one? These problems can be solved by using reference management software like Mendeley. The University Library offers a hands-on introductory instruction to Mendeley for everyone who has been postponing the decision to start using a reference manager, for those who got lost in trying to master one on their own, and for those who use one but would like a little help. Upon completion of this course, you will understand how you can use Mendeley to manage your references.

Format

This is a hands-on 2-hour workshop, including theory and practice with Mendeley software for managing your references.
