Why this course?
Mind mapping is a technique that helps you quickly absorb, comprehend and store information. It is more in line with how the brain works than traditional writing methods. It can be used in brainstorming, designing, organising, summarising, note taking, presenting and learning.
In this workshop, you will learn how to mind map. This is a technique in which you organise and display information in such a way to make it easier to retain and retrieve. A mind map is a tree structure focusing on a central theme.
Topics covered in this course are:
- Mind mapping and the brain
- The technique and the benefits of mind mapping.
After completing the course, you will have mastered the mind mapping skills that will enable you to process information more creatively and effectively. Mind mapping is an efficient technique for all your summaries, notes and reports. You will be better at reproducing information.
During the course, you will create your mind maps based on your own examples. It is important that you use mind mapping in your everyday life if you are to master the technique. The trainer will therefore coach you in the first four weeks after the workshop, and you will be able to ask any questions and show him or her your examples.
