Performance and Development interview for employees
What can you expect from the Performance and Development interview (P&D meeting)? How can you, the employee, best prepare for it? How can you make sure your manager actually hears what you have to say? You will learn the answers to all these questions in this workshop on P&D meetings.

Leiden University employees. The workshop is not available to LUMC employees, visiting staff members or other interested parties.

What you'll learn
You will be able to prepare as fully as possible for the P&D interview. You will know how to make your ideas and points of view clear to your manager. You will be able to set clear frameworks and understand exactly how your assessment score is calculated. You will be able to take responsibility for your personal development and duties, and you will have gained awareness of your own role and contribution within the organisation. In short: you will get more out of your P&D interview.
The course consists of a workshop with a combination of short introductions, practical tips and opportunities to practise what you have learned. This one-day training course is made up of two sections: in the morning, brief theoretical introductions will alternate with practical exercises. In the afternoon you will rehearse P&D interview with an actor. You will be assigned some preparatory exercises in advance of the workshop.
