Workshop
- Target group
- This workshop is open to teachers, education/course advisors who advise and assist teachers, and educational professionals from all contexts and levels. It requires no prior experience with the topic.
This specialised workshop equips participants for navigating difficult or uncomfortable moments with students in a classroom or training space setting. It touches upon various hot moments, from conversations on potentially sensitive or charged topics, to challenging interactions or exchanges, and provides practical tools and recommendations for navigating such situations effectively.
We will use a combination of interactive exercises and reflective discussions to explore the complexities of diversity in our educational spaces, the relevance of an inclusive approach, and how both teachers and learners can feel secure to confront subjects or issues that may make them uncomfortable. Through scenario analysis and interactive problem-solving, participants will be able to practice with and develop effective and targeted strategies.
