In all matters regarding education, Leiden University faculties are supported by the Expertise Centre for Student and Educational Affairs, ICLON and the Faculty Educational Office.
Expertise Centre for Student and Educational Affairs
Leiden University’s Expertise Centre for Student and Educational Affairs(SEA) offers services and products relating to admission, registration and guidance for all Dutch and international students. In addition, SEA operates a wide range of facilities relating to students and education.
ICLON
ICLON (Graduate School of Teaching) offers orientation towards teacher training in the bachelor’s phase and a first-degree master’s teacher training for students who have completed a master’s programme in the subject they wish to teach. ICLON also offers educational services, supports the quality assurance of Leiden University teaching, and conducts its own scientific research.
Educational and Student Affairs facilitates teaching and learning: OSZ makes life easier!
The Educational and Student Affairs (OSZ) Department advises and supports students throughout their study programme: at the start, during and immediately after. The OSZ Department also advises and supports teaching staff, managers and administrators in various ways and at various levels in designing and implementing the education and education policy. The OSZ Department takes care of the key processes involved in the Faculty’s education organisation and registration.
