The Leiden view on honours education
Honours education encourages students to broaden their horizons. Honours students from various faculties learn with and from each other and join forces in interdisciplinary projects, with a particular focus on societal challenges. Students move beyond their comfort zone and discover their talents as well as their pitfalls.
For teachers, the Honours Academy aims to be a testing ground where they are given the opportunity to develop their teaching. This way, honours education stimulates educational innovation throughout Leiden University.
