LTA Lunchlecture: Mobile phones as a means of practicing content
- Monday 3 December 2018
- Academy Building
2311 GJ Leiden
- Faculty Club
This year’s Comenius Leadership Fellow proposal from Leiden University proposes to implement mobile phones as a means for students to learn and practice content of introductory courses. Using a platform designed to work on mobile phones, the implementation is expected to improve long term retention, lower test anxiety, and increase the total time that students study each week.
In this lunch meeting.
• ... Ludo Juurlink will outline the Leadership Fellow proposal and the intended study
• ... Representative Brian Gore will introduce you to Cerego - a learning and assessment platform that is designed to work on mobile phones and uses science to optimize learning outcomes.
• ... You get to test Cerego yourself, learn how you may apply it, and how you can participate in the study if Leiden University is awarded the Leadership Fellow grant.
Bring your mobile phone!
