Leiden University and the Canal Run have something to celebrate together: 2019 is the year of the 44th version of the Canal Run and the 444th birthday of Leiden University. Come and join the Run on 5 April.
4.44 euros
This year, the theme of the medals, flyers and posters of the 44th Canal Run is the 444 year celebration of the foundation of Leiden University. Given this special birthday, Leiden University is sponsoring the Canal Run charities. For every 4 euros in registration fees, Leiden University will add a symbolic sum of 44 cents, so that in the 444 year, 4.44 euros for each participant will go to the chosen Leiden charities.
