The Smart Culture Conference - organised by the Dutch Organisation of Scientific Research (NWO) – connects researchers on the line of culture, art and science. This year, the conference takes place in co-operation with the Beyond Human Festival. The connection with technology makes this edition of the conference extra inspirational.

The question ‘how does society changes because of technology?’ is the theme of the conference program on the 6th of November 2019. The British journalist and artist James Bridle tells about this topic as keynote speaker.

Other themes of the program are:

  • Insights of the NWO Smart Culture research projects
  • Bio Art & Design
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Sustainable Development Goals
  • Art & Technology
  • Reflections on Art & Science
