The Citizen Science Lab organizes a meet-up about Citizen Science and health. In a small group we will explore the possibilities for Citizen Science and health at Leiden University and the LUMC.

In case of overwhelming interest, we will make a selection based on the background of the applicants to ensure a balanced representation of researchers and project managers involved or interested in citizen science. Can’t attend, but want to stay in touch? Please fill in the form as well.

14:10 - 14:20 Introduction by Jet Bussemaker professor policy, science and societal impact, in particular in health care at LUMC
14:20 - 14:40 Introductions attendees regarding background and involvement CS
14:45 - 15:15 Exploring:
- Challenges: what are the challenges that you face or think about regarding e.g. ethics, privacy, and how to involve citizens more than as a test subject?
- Needs: What knowledge/tools do you need to overcome these challenges?
- Opportunities: what are the opportunities? We’ll explore if there are opportunities for the participants to set up a Citizen Science project together!
- Financial support: gather recommendations for a new ZonMw Program on Citizen Science and health
