Almost everyone in the education sector has to face legislation and regulations in the field of copyright. This can be the case, for example, if you use a quote in an article, or if you want to use a video during a lecture. Are you aware enough of the rights (and costs) of the material you use?

Alternatives are increasing: open materials that are not subject to restrictive terms of use. In this lunchbite Claudia Pees (information professional Walaeus Library LUMC), Paul Gobee (anatomy teacher and project leader TOOL2) and Nathalie de Bruycker ( Education Advisor of the Education Expertise Centre of the Directorate of Education LUMC) will take you on a journey through the possibilities and impossibilities of using copyrighted materials. In addition, we will give you more information about the use of open educational resources (see also: Strategic Agenda for Higher Education and Research 2015 - 2025). During this lunchbite you will receive practical tips on how to search for, find and use open educational resources in your own education.

For whom and when?
The lunchbite is for all teachers, and other interested employees in this subject, and will take place on Monday 3 February in the Gorlaeus Building (DM119) from 13.00 to 14.30 hours (lunch is included).
