LACDR Spring symposium (online conference)

Date
Thursday 2 July 2020
Time
Address
This will be an online symposium

On the 2nd of July, from 12.30 - 16.00 hours, LACDR will organize the postponed Spring Symposium. During the Spring Symposium, we will be highlighting the LACDR research projects, where our researchers have been working on, through poster pitches and oral presentations. We are pleased to annouce that Dr. Bram Slütter will be the chair. In the banner you will find the complete program.

This year the LACDR Spring symposium is online in a Microsoft TEAMS team. It is of course a new format and the whole symposium is online, including the poster sessions. A team has been created, called 'Spring symposium 2020'. In this team, there is a general channel for the plenary session and 7 separate channels for the parallel poster sessions. At 12.30 hours we will start with a plenary word of welcome in the channel 'general'. Then you can switch to the channels where the poster sessions take place and after ending the poster session, please go back to the plenary channel 'general' for the PhD presentations.

The Spring Symposium is traditionally a special and important moment for the PhD candidates to present their research project. Every PhD candidate will be presenting their research via a poster. Each poster session has a mix of PhD candidates from different divisions. Of each division, there will be two PhD candidates who will be presenting their research via an oral presentation.

There will be a competition attached to the Spring Symposium. We will select the best poster pitches and best PhD presenter. The selection of the best PhD presenter will be held via an online voting system at the end of the symposium. The best PhD presenter will represent the LACDR at the national PhD competition during the FIGON Dutch Medicine Days 2020.
