Eager to hear about how other teachers are coping with digital teaching and learning in times of corona? Or about how you can foster interaction with students when teaching online? And what about digital assessement: what does and doesn’t work? How can you coach and monitor students online? And how do you convert your teaching methods into blended learning if you’ve never done so before? Join the webinar on 7 July and share your knowledge with your colleagues.
Teachers have had to switch to online teaching at an unprecedented rate. This asks a great deal of all of us. The focus of this webinar is directed at the personal experiences of teachers and their online teaching practice over the few past months.
During the opening plenary, Vice-Rector Magnificus Hester Bijl is interviewed about her personal experiences. This will be followed by a panel discussion with teachers and students. Then, in various break-out sessions, you will have the opportunity to share experiences with colleague teachers and discuss your needs and issues you are facing.
Break-out sessions
The webinar gives you the opportunity to look in more depth at a specific topic. The lecturers have chosen to base their break-out sessions on personal experience so that, although they specialise in a particular discipline, their workshop will be accessible to other lecturers. The workshops will begin with a personal testimonial. There will then be time for questions and discussion. Read the article 'Share your experiences of online teaching. Register for the University webinar' or watch the video 'teaser break-out sessions' below for more information about the break-out sessions.
The webinar will be held in English.

The original plan was to hold an Education Day at Campus The Hague this year. Although an on-campus Education Day is not possible because of the corona crisis, this webinar will give lecturers the opportunity to share knowledge after all. It is organised by the Vision on Teaching and Learning project team in collaboration with CFI, ICLON and LTA.
