Eat lunch and get inspired by best practices from colleagues!
This week's topic:
Team Based Learning (TBL) is a method to promote active learning in students while they solve real-life problems in a team setting. Zweemer used this method for her course Cellular Biochemistry. This year she successfully turned her course comprising mini-lectures, group work and several tests into a complete online course. She discovered that some elements worked better online than in a face to face situation.
This Lunch Break will be hosted by Francesca Arici.
Join us every Thursday between 12.30 and 13.00!
Grab your lunch, find a relaxed spot to sit and join us in our Virtual Lunch Room, every Thursday at 12.30.

Sharing best practices
Creating online courses is still a huge challenge that takes a lot of effort. But, it also triggers a lot of inventiveness and creativity. Good to take a break and get inspired by colleagues from different courses, programmes and departments in the Faculty of Science.
Every week a different topic and guest speaker
Every Lunch Break, we will have a different 'Lunch guest' who will share their best practice with online education. Afterwards, we will have a Q&A and/or a discussion. The presentations by our Lunch guests will be recorded and made available. View the recordings archive for topics you might have missed.
