Billboard for elections Dutch parliament, 2021

What to expect in this year’s Dutch parliamentary elections?

This event brings together scholars in the comparative politics tradition of political science to discuss what to expect in this year’s Dutch elections for parliament. How does the corona virus pandemic and the government’s crisis management impact the elections? How do anti-corona measure protests shape the political posturing of political parties? To what extent do we see a decay of power of traditional parties? What political changes (if any) should we expect after the elections?

The event is intended for those interested in Dutch and European politics, in particular international students and staff not so familiar with Dutch politics.
