We are very excited to invite you to the second session #2 of the "Career Lunch Series" organized by LSA Leiden the study association of the Master's program MSc: Law & Society.
For this event, we are pleased to be joined by Leiden Alumni Vincent Wiggers. He is currently a Rijkstrainee at the Ministry of Finance/ Tax Department. (Belastingdienst). He holds a Public Administration and Organisation (BSc) and Master's degree in Public Administration with a specialization in Economics & Governance (MSc) from Leiden University.
Last but not least, our very own Study Coordinator Ass. Prof Danielle Chevalier of Law & Society will share her career experiences, and insightful tips with the students! Ms. Danielle has a background in Law (LL.M Utrecht University) and Cultural Anthropology (M.Sc. Utrecht University) and received her Ph.D. in Sociology (the University of Amsterdam, cum laude). Her Ph.D. thesis, entitled ‘Playing it by the Rules’, consisted of a socio-legal investigation into local bans on the public use of soft drugs and the production of shared spaces of everyday life in the Netherlands. She has also worked as a Policy Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Students will have a unique opportunity to ask their career questions.
We look forward to hearing about both of our guest speakers' career paths & experiences!
The career lunch date series are organized bi-weekly in April-May. Vincent wiggers will share his experiences and career path as a Financial Trainee at the Dutch Government. We will open the floor for students to ask any of their career questions.
Our career lunch date series aims to provide students with the opportunity to ask career orientation questions, and receiving advice, as well as getting a unique insight into the professional field of interest.
