The health & technology ecosystem of the delta region and beyond will come together on Tuesday 2 November during the Medical Delta Conference 2021. In addition to an interesting substantive program, the nine new appointed Medical Delta professors will give their inaugural lectures.

- Prof. dr. Natasja de Groot (Erasmus MC, TU Delft) – research into the use of sensors and catheters to more accurately diagnose and treat cardiac arrhythmias (part of Medical Delta Cardiac Arrhythmia Lab)
- Prof. dr. ir. Jaap Harlaar (TU Delft, Erasmus MC, LUMC) – research into biomechanics of movement and precision diagnostics in osteoarthritis (part of Medical Delta: Improving Mobility with Technology)
- Prof. dr. Mischa Hoogeman (Erasmus MC, TU Delft) – research on photons and protons to promote proton therapy for cancer patients (part of HollandPTC Medical Delta program on HTA value proposition)
- Prof. dr. Gerjo van Osch (Erasmus MC, TU Delft) – research into making cartilage (part of Medical Delta Regenerative Medicine 4D: Generating complex tissues with stem cells and printing technology)
- Prof. dr. ir. Wouter Serdijn (TU Delft, Erasmus MC) – research into the use of bioelectronics in medical research (part of Medical Delta Cardiac Arrhythmia Lab and Medical Neurodelta)
- Prof. dr. Marco van Vulpen (LUMC, TU Delft, Erasmus MC) – research into proton therapy for radiation cancer cells (part of HollandPTC Medical Delta program on HTA value proposition)
- Prof. dr. ir. Marcel Reinders (TU Delft, LUMC) – research into the use of computer algorithms for the analysis of molecular data (part of Medical NeuroDelta: Ambulant Neuromonitoring for Prevention and Treatment of Brain Disease and METABODELTA: Metabolomics for clinical advances in the Medical Delta)
