The Department of Italian Language and Culture at Leiden University (LUCL) in collaboration with Levende Talen and with the support of the Italian Cultural Institute in Amsterdam announce the study day:

New perspectives in teaching oral interaction of Italian as a Second Language 

  • On May 29, 2021 - Online via Zoom, from 10.00am - 12.00am with the participation of Marilisa Birello (Autonomous University of Barcelona) and Paola Leone (University of Salento).
     
  • On 6 November 2021*, in collaboration with Levende Talen and with the support of the Italian Cultural Institute of Amsterdam, the seminars by Marilisa Birello and Paola Leone will take place at the University of Leiden. This day program will close with a round table entitled "Dissemination and consolidation of Italian as Second Language in the Dutch high schools" which will be attended by Laura Briganti (Het Amsterdams Lyceum), Alessandra Corda (Hoge School van Amsterdam / coordinator of the National Center for Modern Languages), Claudio Di Felice (University of Leiden), Karijn Helsloot (Taal naar Keuze Foundation), Rita Sorce (University of Tilburg / ex-president of the Italian Section of Levende Talen), Helen van Hoorn (ILO, University of Amsterdam) and Bregje Verbruggen (current president of the Italian Section of Levende Talen). Moderator Enrico Odelli (University of Leiden).
