On Thursday the 16th of December the Young Academy Leiden organizes the last Young Interfaculty Lunch of this academic year. This time the lunch meeting will focus on outreach activities for early career researchers.

After an introduction on outreach and science communication, we will have an interactive discussion focusing on the following questions:
- How do we define ‘outreach’?
- How can outreach become a performance indicator such as education and research?
- What are your own motivations and barriers to participate in outreach activities?
Input will be used for a forthcoming position paper on this topic.
