Following the landmark decisions in the Myanmar Situation at the International Criminal Court (ICC) which confirmed the ICC's jurisdiction over international crimes that occurred cross border and were completed in an ICC State Party (Bangladesh), significant questions remain over the application of this principle to other cases.

An expert panel will examine these important developments for international criminal law and the challenges ahead for the ICC in different situations including in Ukraine, Syria and for Uyghur victims subjected to deportations and disappearances.
