Asia has been through a significant technological transformation over the past decade. This region has since the beginning of 21st century developing further technological infrastructure; more importantly, it has accounted for a large share of global growth in tech start-ups, spending on R&D as well as patents. Although benefiting from the digital consumers demand, policy support and large manufacturing companies of high global revenue, are there chances or challenges to leap forward from manufacturing sector to research & development sector?

The Founder and CEO of TMY Technology, Mr. Chang, Su-wei, will share with us his insights on how Asia can advance the technological capabilities to research and development.

Mr. Chang has A demonstrated history of working in the electrical and electronic manufacturing industry. Skilled in Antennas, Antenna Measurements, LaTeX, Cadence, and BiCMOS. Before establishing the company, he was a Research Assistant with a Master in Engineering at University of Massachusetts Amherst, focused on Electrical, Electronics and communications Engineering.
