18 January Aleydis Nissen will present her monograph ‘The European Union, Emerging Global Business and Human Rights’, recently published with Cambridge University Press. The book talk is organised in the context of the Europa Institute’s ‘Food For Thought’ series where we discuss research projects by our Leiden colleagues.

It takes place on 18 January 2023, from 13:00-14:00 in room B0.35 (KOG).

Aleydis Nissen has been working as a postdoc researcher at the Institutions for Conflict Resolution research group in Leiden since February 2020. She is also the principal investigator of FWO and F.R.S.-FNRS research projects at the Free Universities of Brussels. In her recent monograph she studies the role the European Union and its Member States play in regulating and remedying human rights violations by corporations from emerging and developing states.
