  • Prof.dr. Juan Fernandez
Thursday 20 April 2023
Turfmarkt 99
2511 DP The Hague

What do European citizens think about their occupational pensions? And do these opinions match how their occupational pensions are managed? On April 20, Prof. Fernandez (Carlos III University of Madrid) will present the results of a large-scale survey study into the opinions of citizens in six European countries (Austria, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Spain). The survey covers attitudes regarding pension communication, pension scheme governance and pension investments. Prof. Dr. Kène Henkens (NIDI, University of Groningen) and Dr. Ariane Agunsoye (Goldsmiths, University of London) act as discussants. This event will be held in English.

The study conducted by Prof. Fernandez is part of the international DEEPEN project on the "Democratic Governance of Funded Pension Schemes" in Europe, funded by NORFACE. More information about this research project can be found on the website of DEEPEN
