Have you always been curious to learn more about Citizen Science? Could participatory approaches be applied in your own research domain to add value to your research or your realised impacts?
Then now is your chance - Young Academy Leiden and the Citizen Science Lab are running a two-hour workshop (preceded by lunch), wherein CS Lab Coordinator Margaret Gold will introduce you to the principles and characteristics of Citizen Science, provide you with a range of examples from a wide variety of research domains, and will facilitate an interactive discussion of what types of participatory practices could be of value in your own domain. The workshop will close with a plenary discussion and time for Q&A.
