Tuesday 20 June 2023

The workshop targets PhD candidates who would like to start publishing in academic journals. It consists of two parts: An interactive lecture (theoretical part) and a roundtable with publishers (practice)

The interactive lecture aims at addressing main issues related to publishing a research article in a peer-reviewed journal.
Main topics that will be addressed include:

  • Drafting your article (what constitutes good writing in journals? How to find time for writing? Developing a program for writing, etc.);
  • Targeting journals (which journal, why that journal, how to analyse a journal, how to contact the editor, etc.);
