The Europa Institute is delighted to invite you to the 12th Europa lecture given by Professor Iyiola Solanke (Sommerville College, University of Oxford) entitled 'A decolonial approach to research and teaching in EU law'.

Professor Solanke is a leading voice in the academic debate on diversity, inclusion and equality. These values are not only important for the Europa Institute, but also for Leiden University, the academic world as a whole and the European Union. We're delighted to host such a prominent researcher in Leiden; Professor Solanke has played a key role in these fields for many years now.

After the lecture, there will be a reception in Leiden Law School's restaurant.

For organisational purposes, registration for this event is mandatory. Please register here.

Held for the first time in 2013, the Europa Lecture is an annual lecture organised by Leiden Law School's Europa Institute. It gives leading thinkers, scholars and politicians a platform to share their views on issues concerning European integration with both the academic community and the wider public. More information about the Europa Lectures is available here.
