This valedictory lecture is based in part on a new update of the speaker’s Global Index on Legal Recognition of Homosexual Orientation.
On the occasion of his academic ‘farewell’, professor Waaldijk would prefer not to receive any personal gifts (not even flowers). However, he would very much appreciate contributions to the new Waaldijk Orientation Fund that he is building up at the Leiden University Fund, to promote and support teaching and research in his area of law.
