The LEAF Symposium 2025 is entirely dedicated to sustainability in our laboratories.
Colleagues, suppliers and partners will share their experiences and expertise on how we can work together to reduce the impact of laboratory activities.

Throughout the programme, you will explore the full life cycle of laboratory materials: from smart procurement and responsible use to innovative approaches to waste processing. You will also receive an update on the latest developments regarding LEAF accreditation, both within Leiden University and across the Netherlands.

  3. The sustainability of lab products: before and after use – a joint session by lab supplier Boom and waste-to-product partner RENEWI
