Wednesday 18 March is Global Recycling Day, and to mark the occasion we’ll be opening our new Green Corner at 11.00!
It’s a great way for all of us to celebrate sustainability and give second-hand items a new lease of life.
After the opening, you’re welcome to bring along your own items to pass on to a new owner: e.g. plant cuttings, sports equipment, small home appliances or electrical equipment you no longer use. Please note that the Green Corner is not to be used for clothes.
We’ll have a permanent Little Free Library where you can leave study books or other fiction/non-fiction books you’re offering for free – or choose a book yourself!
There’s also a collection point for empty batteries and plastic bottles.
- Have you given up padel? Leave your old racket here so someone else can give it a try
- Need a study book? Perhaps it's in the Little Free Library
- Do you have a healthy plant cutting you’d like to share? Someone at the KOG would love to take it home!
You’ll find the Green Corner in the A0 corridor, opposite the Living Room.
