Kernvisie evaluation update

Date
Tuesday 23 June 2026
Time
Address
KOG

Room
B0.20

In this past academic year 2025-2026, 1st-year bachelor’s students in the Law degree programme (Rechtsgeleerdheid) were the first to study according to the revised bachelor’s curriculum. Courses were revised in line with proposals in the Kernvisie for the Law degree programme; for example, activating teaching methods, mid-term assessments, new course designs, and small-scale Atelier classes.

So, how has the new curriculum worked out? What do students think of the changes to courses as envisaged in the Kernvisie? What do lecturers think of the changes? And what do the figures on student attendance and their preparation for classes tell us? Over the past year, a team of lecturers, students, and educational specialists has collected a wide range of data to evaluate the various Kernvisie measures.

This team is now keen to share the outcome of this evaluation, so we have organised an open session to update all faculty staff including lecturers, students and support staff. Posters have been created to summarise the evaluation results. This is your chance to check out the results to date and to provide feedback.

So, drop by in room B0.20 on Tuesday 23 June any time between 14.30 and 16.30 or on Thursday 25 June between 10.00 and 12.00 to be updated on the evaluation of the Kernvisie and to share your thoughts.

The Kernvisie evaluation team looks forward to seeing you there!
