Purple Friday is an annual day of action in education when pupils, students and staff wear purple to show their support for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Come along to the Purple Friday Gathering on 9 October between 15.00 hours and 17.00 hours. Share your experiences, talk about your feelings and inspire others. You can do this during the panel discussion, in the group discussion or while enjoying a snack. Apply now.
Reimaging Allyship, Pride and Networking
This year, the focus is on the university’s role in and support for identity networks, the university’s participation in Leiden Pride, and ways to show meaningful support.
This day of action is organised by Studentorganisatie Queer Leiden University and representatives of different faculties and the D&I Expertise Office.
