About this event
The ERC Consolidator Grants are designed to support excellent Principal Investigators at the career stage at which they may still be consolidating their own independent research team or programme, and who can demonstrate the ground-breaking nature and ambition of their scientific proposal.
Researchers of any nationality with 5-15 years of experience since completion of PhD, a scientific track record showing great promise and an excellent research proposal can apply. Applications can be made in any field of research.
This webinar is aimed at LU researchers who are willing to submit an ERC Consolidator Grant application in the 2027 round (deadline 12 January 2027). The basic information of the call and procedures will be discussed.

The webinar is open to Leiden University researchers, and those external researchers who wish to apply with Leiden as the host institution and they have already received the confirmation from their LU institute that a Host Institution Support Letter will be granted for them!
The webinar will be held in English! The webinar will not be recorded in line with our internal policies.
