Online kick-off on Sustainability & Law with Yvonne Erkens
On Monday 23 October, from 12.00 to 12.45, Professor Yvonne Erkens provides an introduction to sustainability and law. Yvonne Erkens is the co-editor of the 'Panta Rhei' compilation, which encompasses research from various legal disciplines in the field of sustainability. The contributions address issues related to the environment and climate, decent work, human rights, sustainable business and investment, and the role that the law can and should play in these areas.

What can you expect from the Leiden University Academy Week?
Would you like to find out more about one of our programmes? You can do so by registering for a trial lecture, either online or on-site, lasting up to 45 minutes. These trial lectures give an impression of what to expect from the programme and help you determine whether it suits your needs. During the first 30 minutes, the instructor will discuss a current topic relevant to the respective programme. Following that, there will be an opportunity to ask questions.
During an introduction webinar, the programme coordinator or an instructor will share information about the various substantive modules of a programme, any prerequisite knowledge required, and what the programme can offer you as a professional. There will be an opportunity to ask questions during these webinars.
Would you prefer to ask your questions directly to a programme coordinator? We are organizing Q&A sessions with program coordinators for all professional programmes on the mornings of Wednesday 25 October, and Friday 27 October. You can specify which programme you'd like to schedule a Q&A session for via the registration form.
