Language and the Human Past
What can language tell us about the human past?
This lecture series showcases results of the research group Historical Linguistics and the Human Past at the Leiden University Centre for Linguistics as well as international invited speakers, bringing together specialists from various disciplines and focused on different geographic areas. Topics of the series include, but are not confined to, historical sign language Studies, comparative historical linguistics, areal linguistics, multi-disciplinary reconstructions of the past, language history and philology.
Everyone who is interested is welcome to join. Registration is not necessary.
