Online Ceremony Honours Academy certificates Archaeology

Wednesday November 11, the Honours Academy organized its yearly ceremony in order to award the 2020 honours certificates. Normally, this ceremony takes place in the Hooglandse Kerk in Leiden, but this year, as result of the COVID19-restrictions, an online event was organized instead. A festive event it was! The Honours Academy had created an online Escape room, in which the graduating students had to find their way to their digital certificates during an exciting quest.

Crossing the Borders in World Archaeology

Honours certificates are awarded to students who successfully follow one of the honours tracks offered by Leiden University. The honours track ‘Crossing the Borders in World Archaeology’ involves an extra-curricular program of 30 ECTS which aims to broaden and intensify the study of archaeology and to provide extra and flexible opportunities to explore personal interests.

Archaeology students Joris Geboers, Kaisla Lönnqvist, Myrthe Sassen, Merel Spanier and Louise Van Schaik and Arts, media and society student Diana Kreicberga received their certificate for having successfully completed the honours track ‘Crossing the Borders in World Archaeology’ of the Faculty of Archaeology. Congratulations!
