Felix Bosch wins the World Cup prediction competition of the Institute for History

With a well-attended award ceremony at the entrance of the Johan Huizinga Building on Tuesday 20 December, we concluded the World Cup prediction competition of the Institute for History in which 57 colleagues of 17 different nationalities competed for glory.

Felix Bosch, lecturer and PhD student in Dutch History, won the ultimate prize with a total of 292 points, and received a beautiful trophy and a gold medal from one of the competition organisers, Diederik Smit. Inge Ligtvoet (289,5 points) and Soledad Valdivia Rivera (272 points), who finished second and third respectively, could unfortunately not attend the ceremony, but their accomplishments were warmly applauded by colleagues all the same. Thanks to the organizers of the competition: Michiel van Groesen, Diederik Smit and Karen van Asten.
