Simone van der Hof joins Special Group on Code of Conduct for age-appropriate design
Simone van der Hof, professor of Law and Digital Technology at eLaw, has joined the EU Special Group on Code of Conduct for age-appropriate design as an expert.
This Code aims to contribute to the implementation of the Digital Services Regulation that came into force on 25 August 2023. In addition, the Code will also contribute to the implementation of the Audiovisual Media Services Directive and the General Data Protection Regulation.
The EU Special Group on Code of Conduct for age-appropriate design was specially created to develop a voluntary code of conduct for age-appropriate design of digital services under the Better Internet for Kids Strategy (BIK+).
