Call for nominations Jewish Studies Thesis Prize 2023
The Leiden Jewish Studies Association is pleased to announce a call for nominations for the "Best Thesis in Jewish Studies" produced at Leiden University in 2022 and 2023.
Both B.A. and M.A. theses will be considered. The winning thesis writer will be awarded 500 euro.
To apply, the thesis supervisor should send a short letter nominating the thesis writer and the thesis itself to s.a.cramsey@hum.leidenuniv.nl and j.k.zangenberg@hum.leidenuniv.nl by November, 15, 2023.
A committee consisting of Professor Jürgen Zangenberg, Dr. Tom-Eric Krijger (Religious Studies) and Dr. Johannes Tromp (Governance and Global Affairs) will review the theses and the winner will be honored at the "Jews at Home: From Creation to Corona" conference in December 2023.
