LUCRIS Publication Management and Leids Repositorium
The Leiden Repository is a database of publications by academics from and institutions affiliated to Leiden University. Researchers and PhD candidates use LUCRIS Publication Management (PM) to add publications (except for doctoral theses) to the Repository. Wherever possible, publications should be Open Access in the digital environment.
The Leiden Repository comprises a collection of publications by academics and a collection of student theses. Not only is it easy to find publications in the Repository itself, but also with search engines such as Open Access OAIster, Google and Google Scholar.
Deposit publications with LUCRIS PM
If you are a researcher at Leiden, you can use LUCRIS PM to deposit your publications in the Repository and also add them to your personal profile on the website. The University uses LUCRIS PM to register all academic publications. This ensures that all research output is stored and can be accessed and reviewed at a later date. You can access LUCRIS PM with your ULCN account. The University Library is the system manager.
Personal profile on the website
You can add a Publications tab to your personal profile page on the website by registering your publications via LUCRIS PM. Please note that it may take some time before the Publications tab appears.
Publishers sometimes refuse permission to deposit a publication in the Leiden Repository. However, you may be able to deposit an author’s version (that doesn’t use the publisher’s layout) or the publisher’s PDF after a certain embargo period. To find out more about protecting your copyright, please contact the Copyright Information Desk at the University Library.
