As a PhD candidate, you are expected to follow certain courses and training programmes in the context of your training as researcher.

There are some important documents relevant for PhD candidates and supervisors

As a supervisor, you are responsible for the supervision of your PhD candidate. Read here about your duties as supervisor and the procedures relating to this, as well as which forms you will need.

The post-PhD phase is discussed during the many formal and informal meetings PhD candidates have with their supervisor.

PhD candidates who register on or from 1 September 2024 onwards will be charged an annual fee to contribute to the costs of their PhD trajectory. If you have started your PhD trajectory before this date, please read the information below.
