Security Measures Steering Committee
Leiden University has a Security Measures Steering Committee. Each security measure comprises different elements and therefore requires a multidimensional approach; for example, additional camera surveillance or installing card readers.
The steering committee consists of various experts and is led by the Director of the Management Support department. It advises the building manager on temporary security measures. For structural measures, the steering committee prepares advice for the Executive Board, which then takes the final decision.
