EUniWell, the European University of Well-Being, is an alliance of eight universities. The alliance’s aim is to promote an inclusive well-being agenda for students, staff and society at large by offering new, innovative, interdisciplinary and international opportunities for collaboration and development across education and research.
EUniWell: alliance of eight universities
EUniWell is a European University that unites eight universities: alongside Leiden, the universities of Birmingham, Cologne, Florence, Linneaus, Murcia, Nantes and Budapest (Semmelweis). It offers students, researchers and teachers new, international opportunities for collaboration, mobility and development.
Looking beyond boundaries
The eight universities want to show that diversity and working beyond disciplinary and national borders is the best way to respond to the well-being challenges in universities, society and the world as a whole. EUniWell actively promotes pioneering research and innovation in education and research. The alliance focuses on four interdisciplinary research areas that are in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the United Nations:
- Health and well-being
- Individual and social well-being
- Environmental well-being and urbanity
- Teacher education.
