Forms and regulations
There are some important documents relevant for PhD candidates and supervisors
In the PhD guidelines, you can find more information on facilities for PhD candidates and the arrangements for training, supervision and labour market preparation.
In the PhD regulations you can find the requirements to be met by a dissertation and the rules for appointing (co-)supervisors, the Doctorate Committee and the Examining Committee.
The Golden Rules for PhD Supervision document contains a list of best practices for both the PhD candidate and the supervisors. These ‘rules of conduct’ emphasise the shared responsibility of the supervisor and the PhD candidate. They also clarify what expectations they both may have.
