CDS staff cooperate with colleagues from Leiden and other universities and libraries in giving training sessions, workshops, and presentations. They have (co)authored a diverse set of publications dealing with Digital Scholarship.

The Centre for Digital Scholarship offers training on research data management (RDM). Topics include Data Management Plans, FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) data, and publishing and archiving data.

Training

For our January session, we are pleased to welcome Cristina Gonzalez from Senscience who will speak about FAIR² data management, with a talk titled "From FAIR to FAIR²: Turning principles into practice for responsible, AI-Ready data".

Everyone working with research data will, at some point, come across the acronym of FAIR, which stands for Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable.

NWO has set up a new Open Science Fund aiming to support researchers to develop, test and implement innovative ways of making research open, accessible, transparent and reusable, covering the whole range of Open Science.

Scholarly Publications is a sustainable archive for Leiden University’s publications, which researchers themselves can make Open Access by means of an upload via LUCRIS.

The Centre for Digital Scholarship offers training, events and presentations aimed at researchers and research support staff affiliated with Leiden University on the many different aspects of digital scholarship.

The collection guides of archives and collections of Leiden University Libraries (UBL) have been made available via the portal Collection Guides. This has greatly improved the findability, visibility and ease of use of these collection finding aids.
