Register for the Student Well-being Staff Symposium
As employees of Leiden University, we can all contribute to the well-being of our students. That’s why after a successful first edition, we are organising a second Student Well-being Staff Symposium on Thursday 30 March 2023.
The focus of this year’s symposium is the five main student well-being themes at Leiden University. During keynote speeches, workshops and lectures, we will discuss: awareness, prevention, developing expertise, providing help and ensuring a safe study climate. In doing so, we aim to offer lecturers, study advisers, student counsellors and all staff who have contact with students the tools they need to make a positive contribution to the well-being of our students.
Workshops
During the workshop rounds you'll be able to develop your skills and knowledge of student well-being. There are, for example, workshops on how to create a culture of dignity and respect, how to have difficult conversations with students, and on ‘first aid for decision-making stress’. Don't wait too long to register: some workshops have a maximum capacity!
If you'd like to attend the student well-being symposium, register below.
