Swim the Rapenburg Race for spinal cord injury research
The Rapenburg Race is an annual swimming event that raises money for a good cause: improving the quality of life of people with a spinal cord injury. Why not join this year’s race?
The race is a student initiative supported by all Leiden student associations. The sixth edition will take place on 14 September 2024. Hundreds of people will plunge into the historical Rapenburg canal and swim the 800 metres to the finish. This is at Van Der Werfpark, where there will be all-day food, drinks, live music and fun.
Last year an incredible 112,500 euros were raised. Take on this sporting challenge with your friends, colleagues, sports team or family and see the city from a different angle. Read more on the Rapenburg Race website and sign up soon: www.rapenburgrace.nl
