Employee Experience Survey: Your opinion matters more than ever
Do you enjoy your work? What is going well and what could be improved? In these challenging and uncertain times, it is more important than ever that we keep talking to each other. The Employee Experience Survey is the chance to do so. Take the survey and tell us where there’s room for improvement and how we can build on a positive work environment.
Higher response needed
So far 22% of our staff have taken the survey. We need a minimum response of 50% to gather a representative picture and be able to report back to the Netherlands Labour Authority about work-related stress, and dignity and respect at work.
Have you already filled in the questionnaire? You have until Tuesday 20 May to do so. On Tuesday 13 May, you will receive a reminder from our partner Welliba with a link to the survey. The two teams with the highest response will win a voucher for lunch or drinks together at one of our locations.
Why are there questions about your health?
The survey is being conducted by our independent partner Welliba. At the start of the survey, you’ll be asked to sign a privacy statement. This explains that some of the questions relate to your health, which may be considered sensitive. Under the GDPR (European privacy legislation), data about your physical and mental health is classed as extra sensitive, meaning your explicit consent is required before it can be collected.
The questionnaire includes questions such as: Do you feel rested when you wake up? Do you eat a healthy diet? Are you happy with the amount of exercise you get? Don’t worry – you won’t be asked about illness or injuries. There are also work-related questions about your workload and dignity and respect, which you may find sensitive. This information will help identify what’s needed to create a healthier, more supportive working environment.
Your privacy is guaranteed
You may feel reluctant about sharing personal or health-related information, but you decide what you choose to share. Privacy is Welliba’s highest priority. Your answers will be treated with the strictest confidentiality under the GDPR and will only be used to help the university improve the working environment. Your manager will only see group results, so you can speak openly about what matters to you.
If you have questions about privacy or would like more information about how your data is protected, see the FAQ.
What are your boosters and blockers?
The survey includes questions about working conditions, your well-being, your workload, collaboration, leadership and development opportunities. Tell us anonymously what matters to you.
Once you have filled in the questionnaire, you will have access to a personal dashboard with your results and practical tips. You will see your boosters (strengths) and blockers (points for improvement) and what you can do to improve.
