First Aid Training for Field Archaeologists (deadline November 20)
On 24 February 2026, the Field Research Education Centre of the Faculty of Archaeology organises another First Aid Refresher Course for staff members who will be doing fieldwork. Participation is restricted to staff members who already did a basic First Aid training.
For staff members with fieldwork but without First Aid certificates, there is an option to first do an individual Online Basic Training, and (once that has been successfully finished) to participate in the Refresher Course on 24 February. When interested in doing the individual Online Basic Training and the refresher course on 24 February, please contact m.s.de.waal@arch.leidenuniv.nl no later than 20 November 2025.
Please note that First Aid certificates need to be renewed every year!
