National holidays and compulsory closures
The university will be closed from 24 December to 2 January. This period includes Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. These are national holidays and are not deducted from your annual leave. 29, 30 and 31 December and 2 January are compulsory leave days and have already been deducted from your annual leave.
Access to buildings
If you need to work at the university during the holiday, ask the reception if the building is open.
Libraries
The library opening hours change during the holiday. See the opening hours page for the exact days and hours for each location.
